The core foundation of Hindu belief is that Vedas contain source of all knowledge – physical or metaphysical. However in last 100 odd years, this belief has come under scrutiny due to the advances that modern science claims to make.

Chess and Chaturanga :

In Mahabharat , we have seen the game of Chaturang between cousins. The Chaturang is Mahabharat is nothing other than Modern Chess or prior to chess, Shatranj . The Chaturang was the first form of modern chess. As discussed in History Section , The age of Mahabharata is 3000 BC hence, the age of game can be claimed atleast this.Chances are full that the game might have origin long before that, because, no game can be developed and played in full form even with staking crucial things and people, be recent. It must have its origin much prior to the age of Mahabharat.

Shri Ramraksha is a stotra which was told by Lord Shiva himself to Maharishi Budhakaushika in dream, which was copied by Budhakaushika next morning. This stotra is a magical stotra, which helps one self to get protection from evil forces and black magic.
This stotra is as powerful as it was before, and we can ourselves prepare bhasma with help of Shri Ramraksha along with Shri Hanuman stotra. I have here described the method to prepare bhasma with power of ramraksha mantra behind this bhasma.

The stories we hear about old ages, the ones filled with magic and miracles. Like the war between Danavas and Devatas and the churning of "Ksheera Sagar" and the many things which emerged from it and many such stories, could they have been real? The history always starts with facts, it becomes legend and legend becomes myth. So, could all our mythological stories have been true at some point of time? Do we know the same facts now by different names? I have a few very interesting tit-bits to offer on this issue.

1. INTRODUCTION

Men of older generation used to say that all knowledge is
there in the Vedas. Anyone who hears such words will have
the first reaction that it is an over confident statement.
We should remember here that any sloka in the ancient
Hindu manuscripts has more than one meaning.

A Sloka in the 10th book of Rig Veda appears to be
written for praising Lord Indra. The technical

SOME VEDIC THOUGHTS ON PREMORDIAL WATERS

Vedas are the foremost record of great wisdom and advanced thoughts presented first ever by
humanity since its awareness of the physical world around and the metaphysical elements pervading it.
The knowledge of Vedas is synonymous with knowledge of science and metaphysics of creation. They
are the repository of eternal knowledge and wisdom.

The whole material world is believed to have developed from five prototypal gross elements called

Water Conservation in Ancient India

The Indus Valley Civilization, that flourished along the banks of the river Indus and other parts of western and northern India about 5,000 years ago, had one of the most sophisticated urban water supply and sewage systems in the world. The fact that the people were well acquainted with hygiene can be seen from the covered drains running beneath the streets of the ruins at both Mohenjodaro and Harappa. Another very good example is the well-planned city of Dholavira, on Khadir Bet, a low plateau in the Rann in Gujarat.

Water Conservation

This section of eAnveshan is dedicated to the exploration of water conservation techniques in ancient India.

Science Behind Namaste

In India, there is a tradition of greeting each other with Namaste, two palms joining in front of chest and head bowing slightly while saying Namaste .This Namaste is used for greeting all, elder, younger or same age group.

In Sanskrit namah + te = namaste. It means – I bow to you – my greetings, salutations or prostration to you. Namaha can also be literally interpreted as "na ma" (not mine). It has a spiritual significance of negating or reducing one's ego in the presence of another.

Science Bheind Rangoli

Rangoli

Rangoli is the ancient Indian floor art. One of the most ancient art existing today. We read reference of rangoli in mahabharat aiso, infact, Rangoli can be credited for Mahabharat war , where Draupadi draws the rangoli on water, and Duryodhan, falls in that water.

I read, while making rangoli, women used to chant some mantras, hence creating a mental peace from all day hurry.

2) After hectic day, they get some chance to meet up and chat a bit.
