well there are two theories
1.Big Bang-modern science
2.there is no origin and no end because what we call universe is the physical realisation of almighty god(the ultimate power which is flowing through evrything and anything in this great universe),since there could be n no of universe and same no of dimensions.
since quantum mechanics and this perticular question is inter-related.

ya thats true only quantum mechanics can answer this. This question is more philosophical, and less scientific. How did we originated and whats the reason for the life, from where we came, and where we are going. Seems like a deep philosophy.
